I can't sync my library with the following message.
"Sorry, there was a problem syncing your library: Access to this document is not allowed. Error ID: 8dx2tZp62vk"
It seems that the library is corrupted.
When I tried to access it on the web version.
I found there are several copies of the same article (I recall that there was an error on the web-import browser plugin) and I can't delete them even with the web version.
Would you please help me about this?

File at Mendely desktop can not sync with Mendeley libary on website.
Hi Sir,
This text appeared when I try sync my mendeley desktop with mendeley web.
"Sorry, there was a problem syncing your library: Access to this document is not allowed. Error ID: o3EhUl_4DA8"
I also try to delete the file from mendeley website, unfortunately, failed.
Below are the articles that I try update or syn from my desktop mendeley.
Article:
1. A Novel Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Machine With Overlapping Windings.
2. Overview of Stator-Permanent Magnet Brushless Machines.

Impossible to delete account
Dear customer support,
I have two accounts, linked to different e-mail addressed.
One is outdated, the other is correct but linked to an empty profile.
I attempted to delete the account linked to the new address, hoping to be able later on preserve the old account and link it to the good address.
However, I have faced a world of difficulties doing so :
- When first attempting to delete my profile, the site returned a "server error".
- Then, I attempted to simply change the email address to a non-institutional address, the site returned that ALL my Elsevier Products would now be linked to this address ! What a bad surprise, as I have important other suscriptions (Scopus, ScienceDirect, article submissions etc...)
- I could not change back the address, the mendeley website was crashing when I attempted to do so
- I did the login on ScienceDirect, and could transfer back my account to the previous address
- I try AGAIN now to delete my Mendeley account, the deletion process goes in an infinite loop, asking for password again and again.
The current account visibly cannot be deleted, this is contrary to all basic rules on internet privacy and content, therefore I ask you to delete my Mendeley account linked to the email vidalt@inf.puc-rio.br or bitto_86@yahoo.br.

really tired WITH linking on to a current account1
i cannot find my account nor log in information to log in to online version or desk top version. i've worked very hard to use this resource to assist, however not being able to access my data for my dissertation. I have worked for at minimum 4 hours trying to reconnect to my former USING WEB BASED LINKS GO RECOVERY user name, and name and am block out, 'even if i pull up I google drive info isn.t helpful in IN HELPING TO REST 9R RECOVERED the former data collection I SO desperately need,OF

Password has changed

I originally had a mendeley account. Late last year I generated a scopus account. Each account had it's own password. I logged into Scopus yesterday and then went via scopus into mendeley, to see if I already had a copy of a paper. This morning I couldn't sync Mendeley from my tablet, it asked me to re-login. Login didn't work "Wrong user name or password". Got to uni, I tried a desktop, same thing! Then I thought let's try my scopus password, (same login ID for both). The scopus password worked!!! It looks like moving across from Scopus to Mendeley during searches resets the Mendeley to the Scopus password!
Is this a bug or a feature?

problem with missing element
Hello,
I have quite serious problem. I had problem with synchronization of files from my Mendeley Desktop with error of some document missing (like: Sorry, there was a problem syncing your library: Document not found. Error ID: HeW6UYN7NxE). I found out that there is a problem with one of my documents, because I wasn't able to delete it from my library neither on my Desktop app nor in Mendeley Web (with error saying: document not found).
However, on the second computer I was able to remove it, so I decided to make a backup on that computer, copy it to the second one and then restore there from this backup. But there comes the serious problem: after that almost all my documents disappeared both from Mendeley Desktop and Mendeley Web app. And after that when I want to restore it from another backup I have an error: Document not found (probably again from the same document).

I have been using Mendeley with my personal gmail account. At some point in the past I also created and used an account under my university faculty email account. I'd like to merge these two accounts and their libraries, annotated pdf's, and notes. How can I do this?

Merging two existing accounts
Hello,
I registered with my personal email some months ago, but was not really using the service, so I forgot that I had my account.
Recently, I noticed Mendeley would be helpful for my research, so I registered with my institutional email, but later realised that I already had the previous one.
I've been using only the account with the personal email, and would like to keep the configuration and library from it, but I'd like to change the main email to the institutional, I tried canceling the 2nd account and changing the email associated with the 1st one, but it doesn't allow me, saying it's still associated with a profile.
