To migrate my Mendeley Library from my old PC to a new MAC, I'm trying to synchronize my local files with my web account. I have tried many times, with synchronisation of the attached files or without this option but it does not work. Just now, I have tried again WITHOUT the synchronisation of the attached files and I got the following error message:
Unique id 75317844-958f-4345-acd6-19babd926535 has already been used to create a document.. Error ID: jCyoeCda27o

Can't access my account
Hi, I'm a Mendeley users from Malaysia. I can't access my Mendeley account. I did the uncheck the "use system connection setting", sign out and try to sign in again. Now I'm completely lock out of my account. I can't access my Mendeley account, I don't have back-up of all article that I use for my thesis writing as I trust Mendeley. I hope you can help sort this issue. Thank you

Can I change my email address to another email linked to a canceled account in Mendeley?
I created two new accounts, one using my private email and the other one associate with my school account. Now I want to integrate them and have already canceled my private account, but when I try to change my school account's email address using my private email, it says "the email has been registered with Mendeley." What can I do?

Can't verify new email address
Hi there,
I'm trying to change my personal email address in Mendeley to our institutional one, but my verification email isn't coming through to the new email address. The address is active as I've been receiving other emails and the junk folder is empty. What can I do?

how to merge two accounts
I inadvertently created two accounts (one from several years ago, which I forgot, and then created another one). I paid for a team upgrade on one of the account, but cannot use it for the other. Is there a way to merge the two accounts? Thanks. John

changing my password
I am desperate to change my password, because I cannot log in to my account on my IPad because I have forgotten it. I get an annoying error message when I try saying basically: Oops! Try again later. This is a month later, and several unanswered emails later.

email and password do not match
my desktop app stopped syncing. it said that the email and password do not match. i have tried logging in several times and even changed my password but it keeps saying that the email and password do not match.

Problem when importing into Mendeley and logging in
When I import a reference from my university library, it appears to save the reference to Mendeley, and I will have already signed in to Mendeley in order to save the reference. But then when I open up the Mendeley app, it states the following error: "Mendeley Desktop was unable to connect with your account at mendeley.com. Please check your username and password." After that, I have trouble retrieving the reference that I just imported. The details for the problem under the Get Help tab show the problem as "Invalid Grant."

created folders and highlighting disappeared
Hello,
somehow all my created folders disappeared. Also, when I open a paper the highlights I had made are completely gone. Might it be because of a synchronisation error.
Is it a problem when I use Mendeley on both my computer (Mac) and I-Pad?

Change email address
Hello,
I created a Mendeley account back in the days with my personal email address, and would like to change it to my institutional one for publishing purposes. I recently received an email from Elsevier about paper statistics and followed the link, just to realize that it linked to Mendeley and I therefore created another account inadvertently with my institutional email.
I deleted this new account and tried to change the email in my old account but got this message:
"Sorry, this email has already been registered with Mendeley. Please try again."
Is there any easy way to solve this? All my libraries are registered with my old email and I would not want to lose all the information or having to keep two accounts.

My Correct Affiliation
Hi, I'm trying to rename the affiliation to my profile, but it won't let me add anything that's not already in your database. However my university, in all its wisdom, has decided to change the official name to Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, even in the English Language.

I don't find my documents
I have an account since 1 year, but now, I can find my documents, neither in the web and neither in the Mendeley desktop? What could have happened?

Delete files
How can I definitely delete old (undesired) files from My Library? I've tried to download using the Mendeley Desktop and Web, emptying the thrash basket but always the pdf files are "re-downloaded" and synchonized.
