The email address that i used to register Mendeley account has been closed down and becomes invalid. Therefore, I think it is the reason of why I cannot login my Mendeley account. I just register a Mendeley account with a valid email address, of course it doesn't allow me to get access to my previous account with all the personal settings I made. Can you please let me know what can I do to retrieve my previous account again? Thank you

I would like to change my e-amail adress from ecebriansastre@gmail.com to ecebrs00@estudiantes.unileon.es, but I am not allowed to do it because "this email has already been registered with Mendeley". What can I do?

I have recently started to use the Mendeley Android app as well as pc desktop version.
Today I have been making notes on my Android, then synced, then tried to access on my pc. I could not see the notes made on my Android app so I tried to access the web version.
At this point I struggled to log on, and in confusion I may have inadvertently created and deleted a new account with similar credentials.
I now cannot log on to the web site. I get the following message:
You do not have access to this folder (ec08df13-8d64-426d-b069-452d59ad1ac5). Error ID: WIjGA5Uersk
I really could do with some advice on this as some critical data is in there that needs working on. Many thanks

I have forgotten my password. I enter my email(yari-ho@icrc.ac.ir) in the box to receive the instruction to reset the password. although I have registered with this email (yari-ho@icrc.ac.ir), but I received no email or instruction to reset my password. Please help me with this problem.

Change of URL after merging Mendeley account with others
System offered me to merge Mendeley account to the others I have in Elsevier services. I agreed and now my profile URL is changed to .... /profiles/alexei-lutay4/ (it was ...../profiles/alexei-lutay/, i.e. without 4).
Guys, that is truly disappointing. If you need to change URL of my profile, than set up re-addressing from the old URL. As an advisor I left URL links to my profile, Google show old URL for my profile - it seems like you've stripped away my visibility.
I do expect your kindly fixing it or setting up the re-addressing?

Hello! What are the options for those who do not work for the institutions you happen to know and put into the list? Why don't add "Other" so that people outside of academia could be also recognized?

Random sign in problems
Hi,
from time to time both mendeley web and desktop versions tell me that I'm not able to login due to invalid credentials. As soon as I restore the password, they allow me to sign in again (in fact, I'm using all the times exactly the same password, so I'm pretty sure that I've not forgotten both login and pass). It's quite annoying as it does not allow me to work in a disconnected mode (despite marking "Stay signed in", it kinds of log out).
Any solution to this issue?

can not sync my free 2GB

Logging in error
Hello,
I am not able to log into my Mendeley account both in Desktop app and also from the website using my other email: sandeep.0100@gmail.com. I get an error which says " Error occured when contacting Mendeley, error downloading http://api.mendeley.com/oauth/token/-server replied: Server Error
Hence i have created a new account to contact your support team. (To post or even have a look at support Q&A log in it is necessary, which was not working for me, so this new account)
Please do the needful at the earliest.

Unable to log in to account

I've been using my school account m.j.renders@tilburguniversity.edu for the past few weeks, but all of a sudden I'm not able to log in anymore (and therefore unable to contact support with that email address).
Mendeley web error says: There has been a temporary problem signing you in. Please try again in a moment or contact support if the problem persists. Mendeley desktop says: An error occured when contacting Mendely. Error downloading https://api.mendeley.com/oauth/token/ - server replied: Server Error.
Changing the password did not help.
Would you know what the issue is and how it can be resolved?

Problems singin in with o.barbera@uv.es
Dear sir/madam
I am unable to sing in in my account o.barbera@uv (Oscar Barbera) and hence, unable to contact you form it. That is why I have registered in a new account.
The problem I am having with my o.barbera@uv.es account from the desktop is the following:
"An error occurred when contacting Mendeley. Details: error downloading. https://api.mendeley.com/oauth/token/-server replied: Server error.
Check your connection settings. If the problem persists, please contact support".
I have checked my connection settings and they say: "Mendeley was able to connect"
The problem I am having with my o.barbera@uv.es account from the webpages is:

I am really worried about that because I am unable to access my very very large dataset of documents. Can you please repair the problem or contact me as soon as possible to o.barbera@uv.es?

I cannot enter Mendele with previous account
I created a new user to enter the system.
My previous user (pierpaolo.mincarone@irpps.cnr.it) does not work anymore. I tried to change the password and this regularly works, but when I try to enter with the new password it doesn't work.
The new account (pierpaolo.mincarone@cnr.it) works. But I need to access to the library in my previous account. Could you abilitate again my previous account? alternatively I could use the new one if you could move the library from the old one to the new one.

Jag har problem med att logga in på mendeley. Jag kommer inte in när inloggningsrutan kommer upp. Däremot har jag provat att byta lösenord på en annan sida och då kommer jag in. men tyvärr inte genom den inloggningsrutan som jag uppenbarligen behöver komma in via för att ha tillgång till systemet och mina referenser. Cannot Login into my account

Connection Error

Can't sign in
Hallo,
I have been using the Mendeley Desktop with my account linked to the email address "florian.krainer@student.tugraz.at".
I seem to have forgotten my password for that account, so I would have to reset the password by submitting my email address in the "Password reset" form.
Unfortunately, the university discontinued this email account, so I am not able to receive the email with the link to reset my password.
Is there a way to send me the link to reset the password for my florian.krainer@student.tugraz.at-account to my NEW email address "florian.krainer@tugraz.at"?
