I created a non institutional account (because I din´t know that an institutional account was better!) and I want to delete it.
When I delete my profile data in the Account Settings page, the account continues to exist and I can enter to it.
How can I delete the account permanently?

I accidentally created separate accounts, so half of my library is on one account, and half on another. What's the best way for me to merge them or import one into another?

"save to mendeley" plugin cannot login
I am using Firefox 46.0.1 on a Lubuntu 14.04.4 LTS. Firefox connects to the net through a proxy server that fetches me my articles through a subscription.
On my machine, I can connect to my mendeley account (both through Mendeley Desktop and through the Mendeley Sign In page from inside Firefox). Yet, when I attempt to use the plugin to save a reference, I am requested to sign in, and despite the fact that I use correct login details (same as on the Mendeley login page), the plugin tries to connect and then goes back to prompt me for my login details. How should I get out of this loop?
NB I have absolutely no problem with the plugin using Firefox through the same proxy from a different machine (a MacBook Air)

Cannot sign in online or desktop
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have not been able to sign in into my account. When I type in my data and press sign in the sign in process starts but never actually signs in (the bubbles keep on moving forever).
For this reason I cannot also access my desktop bibliography as I cannot sign in. There are no error messages and changing the password did not help.
I would be very grateful for a solution (I had to create a new account for posting this question here).

I can't remember which email I have an account with, I tried them all so it must be a really old one, can you tell me the email with only password (is leunam1994) and the papers that are in it (10 folders of arachnid stuff)?

incorrect password
Hi,
When I log in Mendeley Desktop, often I am forced to reset my password because incorrect. Then I change the password recovering the same password I usually use and the next time I have no problems. But after a while this happens again. I have changed the password (always putting the same) at least ten times. Could you advise me how to fix it?

I have changed my password, but i´m not able to synchronize literature.
Every time I try, "Mendeley destop was not able to connect your account at mendeley.com. Please check your Password" appears.
Furthermore, when I try to log in "incorrect Password or email" appears. I also sent a Password request, create a new Password with the same results.

Hi,
I tried to move some of my files from a folder to another on the web, and all files were deleted both on my work laptop and my cloud on the web. Is there anyway that you could please bring them back from your backup if there is any?
Luckily, I have a desktop version on my laptop which still works fine with all my references and pdf files because I have not sync that yet. Alternatively, is there any way I can upload this to the web?

Merge 2 accounts
I signed up on Mendeley with an email address that has since expired. I knew this was going to happen so I changed the email address associated with my account and my desktop version has worked fine. However I recently migrated it over to a new laptop and saw that the email address that has been linked to my desktop version did not change. I have been working on this account for over a year now and so it has a lot of articles, folders and notes that I cannot lose. The web version however seems to be linked to the email address I changed it over to, however it only has a fraction of the articles and folders my desktop version has. I also cannot log into my desktop one with the email address it is apparently linked to because I do not know the password and I cannot access that email account to be sent instructions on how to change my password.
Is there a way in which I can merge these 2 accounts, or gain access to my desktop one on the web? This is extremely urgent as a lot of work is done using y mendeley account.

Folder is empty
Hi, I've been using Mendeley to study for a very important exam next month, all my pdfs are annotated and organized into folders. Today, one of the folders was empty, so I tried "Help -- Restore backup"and now ALL OF MY FOLDERS AND FILES ARE GONE!!!
Can you help me please!? Restore my account? I´ve been using it for 6 months and now I have nothing.
